The Prelude

This long anticipated release is finally available. It doubles as an Audio Drama, meaning that it has music, sound effects and an orchestral score. It is 78 minutes long and is contained within two episodes.

The prelude spans across a thousand years of the planet Altera and concludes three thousand years before Chapter One. It explores the culture's past, the division of races, the planet's mythology, and ultimately, the Great War.

What some may be surprised to know is that the prelude was excluded from the novel. This is so the reader can choose to listen to it before or after reading the book. The author personally recommends listening to the audio book after reading the Novel. This is so you can sit in the same ignorance as the protagonists. It makes the reveals (and there are many of them) more exciting.
